The good (I guess) news is although my heel hurts like hell, I *think* I can tell where it is in space... Maybe.
That's something I haven't been able to do with the unfeeling part of me since the accident.
You can tell where your body parts are, if you were in a completely dark room right? You know where your feet and all the rest of you is right? I have no clue about 2/3rds of me. Sometimes I wake up in a strange position and find that a leg has twitched it's way off the bed or something... And I had no idea because I have no idea where they are. Sseems like I can tell where that hurting bastard of a foot is tho. So maybe it's a step forward, and (as I have suspected) shit back there in the 'ol damaged hell of the break is reconnecting itself a little. Who knows. My left arm took 3 to 5 months to heal to the point it is now (still a zone of "weirdness" type feeling on my forearm) and I've been told central nerved *do not* regrow... But I guess stranger things have happened.
Be nice for a change tho if some times I could feel something besides pain tho. Like heat, or cold.... Or a nice shaven leg.. (wait did I type that outloud?)
