So 'gross' things don't really bother me. Rotting corpse? Not really a big deal, unmess I drop my sandwich near it or something.
My skin's crawling right now, so I figured I'd share the love. There's a .. Well, was a scab on my upper thigh. 'Bout an inch to the inside of the line your femur makes. Brushed it thisevening and the edge peeled up, so I tore it off. I've found that scabs that aren't stuck usually have infection underneath, and sure enough, this one did. Just a little bit, say a pinhead ball of greyish-green sticky puss.
So I wiped that clean, .... I tried to at least. There was still a little dot of it, and I thought maybe I had impaled myself with something (splinter) so I squeezed the spot... And ended up with a pile of that same grey-green sticky puss about the size of 3 or 4 q-tip heads. Quite a large amount to be squeezing out of your own leg.
I have no idea how the hell it got in there and / or what is / was the cause but I swabbed the whole zone down with iodine and I'm gonna watch it for a while to be sure it heals.
I can't wait for OWCP to bitch about this one if I need 'medical treatment'... Like I wouldn't have known that much good stuff was in my leg if I'd been able to feel the damn thing.

So I just thought you'd like to cringe as much as I have been the last hour or so thinking about that. Your welcome.

Question for Mac users- Where does one find serials / cracks for OS X software? Windoze users have two excellent sources- Astalavista and FOSI but I've had no such luck looking for serials / cracks for X stuff.
What kinda stuff? Well, the new BBEdit's out, I've got transmit but I'm looking at other FTP proggies, and I'd like a nice image thumbnailer ~> web page maker. I just don't wanna pay for anything. There's something about 'rightClick | copy' "gimme $X" that I don't really agree with, especially when it gets up there in the hundreds of dollars for a single piece of software. Yes, programmers need to eat, but I figure there's enough unwashed masses out there buying it retail that they can afford to give it up to a college student.

I research E-Bay for things sometimes. Not to buy them, but to find out more about them. Some of the auctions really bug me tho, when the seller has ONE line about what he's selling, and the whole rest of the page is about 'Shipping & Payment' and 'About Us'. I don't really give a damn about you, I want to know about what you're selling. this page for example. "CHECK OUT OUR LINKS!" Who gives a damn? What the hell size is your rockwool, how is it used, does it fit into a standard propagation tray, how exactly do I use it to start seeds and cuttings? All these things I would like to know and maybe if answered I might buy the product. But just because you value my business I'm not going to click the "Buy It Now" button. Sorry.
Here's a 'nother one. How many RPM? What voltage does it need? Who knows?
