K so I figured out what's makin' my ass / lower back / left leg / left foot hurt so bad most of the time. Yeah, it's back... But I know why now. How do I know? WEll, I didn't go anywhere but for a 10 minute trip to the store on Saturday or so. I felt better over the weekend, and almost good yesterday, remember? Well, today I drove all over hell to various appointments, school, returned some loot at Office Max, back to another appointment, home, 'nother appointment, then finally home for the day. Lotsa drivin'. No cusion on the car seat. My left ass cheek is killin' me, and guess where that pesky pressure sore is? Yup, right there. So...... I betcha all that drivin' around earlier this year set the stage, then the cusion change to an inflatable one which I had pumped up too far (so it didn't protect me) which lead to the pressure sore.

So that's how it happened. I think. Strange how I can injure myself and not figure out how for hours, days, or even months. Such is life with no tactile feeling.

What do I do about it? Well I asked the Doc for a new cusion months ago, they say they've put in to OWCP for itwhich I believe, but I have no cusion yet. Can't imagine a Government Agency dragging their feet after I've questioned them a few times can you? Nope, neither can I. Meanwhile while I wait for the cusion to arrive I'm spending as much time as possible in bed, which is about 1/2 an hour more than I usually do. Life doesn't stop because I've got 2 holes in my ass... I still have to do everything I had to do before I got the sore, but now I have to do it faster so I can get back into bed. I was lollygagging so much before that should be easy right?
Nope.

So I guess the sore will heal when it does, but at least I know the cause now.
